At Shutter Shop, LLC and our sister company, Redoux, it's our goal to provide our customers with complete satisfaction regarding any products or services that we provide. You can rest assured knowing that our end goal is to ensure you, our valued customer, have a positive shopping experience. That said, we'd be lying if we said Returns or Return Policies are fun. They're not. In fact, they're horrible; and when a customer is not satisfied, it's difficult to create a win-win outcome. But rest assured, we aim to be as transparent as possible on the front end of product purchases. Product nuances as well as any issues we encounter at the time of delivery or installation, and how we handle those issues, will be conveyed to our customers as promptly as possible. At the end of the day, if you have issues with a product or service purchased through Shutter Shop, please reach out to Mark Douglass, the owner. He will handle any customer service issues you may be having. Mark will do everything possible to ensure you leave with full product satisfaction.
The main takeaway to consider is to understand that Shutter Shop and Redoux both offer 100% satisfaction guarantee at the time of product delivery and/or installation. If you feel a product is damage or defective, you may refuse it and the installation team will work with sales to get a replacement product ordered and installed in a timely manner. All window fashions delivered and/or installed by Shutter Shop should be inspected upon receipt and prior to signing the job over as complete. With the exception of damaged items, if you refuse all or part of an order, you will be held responsible for any remaining balance due. Simply changing your mind or not planning financially for the delivery or installation of a product is not our responsibility and Shutter Shop will not carry the weight of your decisions. All products delivered and installed by Redoux should be inspected at the time of delivery. Once a product has been accepted and/or signed for, damages reported after the fact will not be covered.
Again, we don't like returns and we don't like policies. In fact, we really didn't enjoy writing the past few paragraphs, but alas, our legal team said we had to and we think transparency and honesty is still the best policy. In a perfect world it would be great for everyone if we could operate like the big box stores with a "no questions asked" return policy. Unfortunately it's not a perfect world, and this is a custom window treatment product, made specifically for you and your windows. This customization renders the product non-returnable at the time it's ordered.
Custom window treatments and made-to-order products must be cancelled within forty-eight (48) hours from the time you place an order with us. After that time period, orders can't be cancelled or refunded. Non-regularly stocked items (which window treatment products are), are difficult for us to resell. Therefore, they won't be refunded once the cancellation window has passed. Custom and made-to-order specialty window treatment products are paid for at the time of purchase, either in full or a minimum of 75% with a remaining balance due at the time of installation. If you cancel your order after the cancellation window, any money collected will not be refunded to you under any circumstance. Further, any remaining balance due, is still due, regardless of the status of the order.
